Resources in derailment prevention for the railroad,
shipping, agricultural, and environmental industries.
Being the first at Hulcher to occupy this centralized
position, I have built a strong network of business
relationships to increase efficiency, customer
retention, and profitability, resulting in an average
30% revenue growth yearly for the past three years. Started a home/office cleaning business specializing
in chemical-free cleaning, servicing both one-time
clients and approximately 50 regular clients in the
Denton area. I managed a crew of eight people and
an annual budget that averaged $100k annually. 2006 – 2015 Closed Captioning – NCI Live-captioned news and educational programming in
real time using voice-recognition software that was the
first in the industry to be used for that purpose and
helped develop employee best-practices for the
software. Together with our IT department, I created
and established the company protocol for the work to
be done remotely. our social media team, as well as an annual budget of $100,000.
I helped to create and establish two annual fundraising events for our organization, Monster
Dash (a costumed 5k run in October) and Amplify Denton (a member showcase event with live
music and art auction with art and food/beverage vendors). Both events were profitable in
their first year.
I regularly research grant funding opportunities and apply for them, manage organization
funds, make member subsidy payments, vet and approve new memberships, communicate
networking opportunities to our members and donors through regular email updates, and I
have established partnerships with other local nonprofits like the Greater Denton Arts
Council (GDAC), The Art Room, and Denton Mainstreet Association (DMSA).
I speak on behalf of our organization at public events, which included a recent invitation to
speak to a UNT class about nonprofit work.
I have also volunteered my time on behalf of Thin Line Fest, 35Denton, and Denton Freedom
