Description of Responsibilities:
Business Development Reps (BDR) is an entry level role and is responsible for managing incoming leads and creating new opportunities by prospecting with the support of the Sales Executive. Key skills include qualification of incoming leads and opportunities, asking questions in the discovery process to uncover key information to be used in the ongoing sales process, and fostering relationships for long-term sales processes. This role requires someone to work closely with the Sales Executives, help manage the team’s schedules, and ongoing prospecting to fill the sales pipeline. This role requires a hunter mentality, someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress effortlessly, and is willing to work hard for the success of the team. Knowledge of the brewing and distilling industries is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify inbound leads
Generate leads via calling and emailing prospective clients
Answer incoming contact forms
Reach out to new, incoming leads
Usher leads to attend weekly demonstrations and manage follow-ups • Nurture leads through the pipeline
Gain and maintain a full understanding of the product to promote product value Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years current sales experience • Commitment to the customer by leading with a customer first mentality
Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to quickly build rapport • Ability to work in fast paced environment and to pivot quickly
Strong follow-up/follow-through skills along with excellent prioritization skills
Experience with Salesforce or like CRM • Mind for software and technology • Competency for Microsoft
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
